   Thread Thickness

Yarn count
It is an unit which defines yarn's fineness or coarseness. It expresses whether the yarn is thick or thin. 1 cotton count yarn has 453.6g weight and 768.1m length.

The thinner, the bigger yarn count number.

Thick yarn: 20 or less yarn count
Moderate yarn: 30-40 yarn count
Thin yarn: 50 or above yarn count

Single thread

One thread (made by twisting fibers together). It has soft texture. The garment is easily twisted.

Twin thread

Twisted from 2 single threads. It is durable, not easily twisted or deformed after washing.

Twisted thread

Thread made by repeated twisting. It has a fresh touch and cool texture.

   Weaving Method

Plain stitch
The knit side creates a smooth surface with knit stitches. (The surface and inner part are different) It is made of basic stitch to produce the most durable and stable fabric.

Pique

It is characterized by the regular stitch with a rough surface, which is less elastic.

Fleece lining

The inner part is made of thick yarn which allows moisture.

Pile

The pile surface has a soft texture. As it is made of cotton, it has high moisture content and hygroscopicity.

Double-sided fabric

It has lateral stretch. Using stockinette stitch, it creates the same pattern on surface and inner part.

Double-sided rib Fabric

Formed by combining 2 rib knit fabrics, which both the surface and inner part has a smooth texture. It is relatively thick, with low elasticity and permanent press.

Waffle

The appearance is like honeycomb and waffle. It is characterized by the rough surface.
