   Delivery Service

Q. What kind of delivery methods are available?
A. For each product, there will be a tag on the product profile page to indicate the applicable delivery method, which may be one or more of the followings:
 
(a) Store pickup;
(b) General Merchandise Delivery (Standard delivery or Self-Pickup Point); or
(c) Bulky Item Delivery.
  You may only choose a single delivery method for each order. If one or more products in your shopping cart are required to be delivered by different delivery methods, the entire shopping cart will not proceed to checkout, in which case, you will have to adjust your shopping cart such that the shopping cart can be delivered by a single method. You may not change the delivery method after payment.
Q. What is the delivery lead time of my order?
A. After the order is confirmed, you will receive an email notification with the estimated delivery time as follows :
  Store pickup
 
All Hong Kong MUJI stores (except MUJI com stores): 2 to 4 Business Days
  General Merchandise Delivery (Standard delivery or Self-Pickup Point)
 
Residential, commercial and industrial districts: 2 to 4 Business Days
  Bulky Item Delivery
 
By desired delivery time
  We will try to minimize delay. The above delivery time is an estimation only. The actual delivery time is subject to the applicable terms of services of the delivery service provider and the availability of the pickup stores and/or lockers. For details of delivery service, please refer to the “Terms and Conditions” .
Q. Can I choose the delivery date and time for my order?
A. Store pickup:
You cannot choose a designated delivery date and time.
General Merchandise Delivery:
You cannot choose a designated delivery date and time. The responsible courier service provider will notify you by SMS directly or contact you on your mobile phone number regarding the delivery arrangements hence you are required to provide a valid mobile phone number at the time of ordering to ensure that the courier service providers can contact you.
Bulky Item Delivery:
While you will be able to choose your preferred delivery date at the time of ordering, such date is subject to our confirmation within 2 Business Days after you have paid for the order. We will contact you by email or SMS or phone to inform you of the arranged/expected delivery date. Whilst we will make a reasonable effort to send you reminders 2 Business Days before the scheduled delivery date and estimated time window, we are not obligated to do so, and you shall remain responsible to ensure that the delivery address will be attended to at the time of delivery.
Q. What is the minimum spending requirement for store pickup?
A. It is free of delivery charge for all store pickup orders.
Q. What is the delivery lead time of my order if I choose to pick up at MUJI physical store?
A. When your order is ready for store pick up, we will send you a notification to your registered email address or by way of SMS to your mobile phone number in around 2 to 4 Business Days after the Order Confirmation has been sent (“Store Pickup Notification”). You shall pick up the order at your selected store by presenting such Store Pickup Notification within 7 calendar days from the date of the Store Pickup Notification (“Store Collection Deadline”).
Q. What will happen if I opt for store pickup but fail to collect my order before the Store Collection Deadline?
A. Subject to the type of items, we reserve the right to take one of the following measures without further notice if you fail to pickup your order before the Store Collection Deadline :
 
Your order will be cancelled upon the Store Collection Deadline. We will refund the remaining balance to you after deducting any applicable service charge in accordance with the relevant terms.
We will dispose of the ordered items (especially fresh food) without making any refund or compensation.
Q. Will I receive any confirmation notice upon completion of order pickup or delivery?
A. We are sorry that no email or SMS will be sent to confirm your receipt of items. However, you can log on to your MUJI Hong Kong Official Online Shop Account anytime for the latest delivery status or check the order status update sent to you via email.
Q. What will happen if the delivery for bulky items is not arranged within 30 days from the date of purchase?
A. Our delivery service for bulky items offers a maximum storage period of 30 days from the date of purchase (the “Delivery Deadline”). We reserve the right to take one of the following measures if the ordered items are not arranged for delivery within the Delivery Deadline :
 
Your order will be cancelled upon the Delivery Deadline. We will refund the remaining balance to you after deducting any applicable service charge in accordance with the relevant terms.
We will dispose of the ordered items without making any refund or compensation and no further notice will be given.
Q. Can I change the delivery date for order(s) of bulky item(s)?
A. You may change the delivery date for an order of bulky item(s) one time for free. Please make the request to our Customer Service Department at mujics@muji.com.hk at least 4 Days before the original delivery date. Any further change to the delivery date or short notice of change of less than 4 Days will be subject to an administrative fee of HK$100 upon delivery. We will make every attempt to provide assistance, but any request for change of the delivery date shall be subject to the availability of our delivery service.
Q. Do you offer old furniture disposal service?
A. We are sorry that relevant service is not available. Please accept our apology for any inconvenience caused.
Q. Is delivery service available in area outside Hong Kong?
A. We are sorry that delivery service is only available in Hong Kong, including most of the commercial, industrial, and residential districts in Hong Kong.

   Assembly Service

Q. Is assembly service appliable to all products?
A. We can offer assembly services for certain products, where available, you will see an assembly services indicator on the product profile page and you may choose to purchase such services from us. Assembly services do not include any form of wall-mount installation.
Q. How much does assembly service cost?
A. Basic Furniture: HK$300 per unit. System Furniture: First Column HK$300; Each Connected Column HK$300, the assembly charge per order is capped at HK$3,000.
Q. Is wall-mounting installation services available for bulky funriture item?
A. Shipment, lifting operation, wall-mount installation and furniture disposal services are not available. You shall arrange for such services at your own costs and risk.
Q. Can assembly service be arranged if I encounter difficulties when assembling furniture?
A. Please contact our Customer Service Department at mujics@muji.com.hk . The provision of relevant service is subject to availability.
